Our own Ms. Baugh's mother was kind enough to share her talent with our 5th graders today. Mrs. Harrison Baugh taught a lesson on structure and design through images of interesting structures from all over the world. Through Gaudi in Italy, her own designs in Maryland, and even some local buildings right here in Old Town we learned about art in architecture. Students then had a chance to build structures using marshmallows and toothpicks. Look at the fantastic results!!
